• Hallaöödel kata suvelilled kattelooriga: nii kestab õieilu veel nädalaid.
• On õige aeg anda aiale sügisväetist: taimed jõuavad toitaineid veel omastada ja talvele paremini vastu pidada.
• Viimane aeg on jagada ja ümber istuda pojenge.
• Algab sügisene istutushooaeg! Paljasjuurseid puid-põõsaid asu istutama siis, kui lehed tulevad põõsaste küljest kergelt lahti.
• Vaheta suveõitsejaid sügisõitsejate vastu välja. Nüüd kaunistavad aiavaase kanarbikud, eerikad, talihalid ja krüsanteemid. Krüsanteemid tõsta öökülmaohu korral tuppa või kata looriga.
• Niida muru korrapäraselt, sest varasügisesel niiskemal ajal kasvab see hoogsalt.
• Kata kurgi- ja suvikõrvitsapeenar kattelooriga, et pikendada saagi valmimist.

• Uue algava toahooaja peale mõeldes muretse uusi toataimi ja ümbrispotte ningsobita neid oma ruumikujundusega.
