Kunstnik Eerik Haameri lähedased rajasid Kuressaarde kunstniku sünnipaika, kust endine kodumaja lammutatud oli, selle hoone just galeriiks.

Maalide eksponeerimiseks mõeldud hoone lõi arhitekt Viljar Päss. Kui kunstniku pärijad sellest loobusid, ostsid selle kunstikoguja Tõnis Kipper, kelle kodugalerii ka tellimisel soovijatele uksed lahti teeb. Täpsemalt loe veebruari Kodukirjast.
