Palkmajade viimistlemine.

Puit peab olema kuiv.
Küsi palgipuu müüjalt üle puidu niiskus. Kui palgid on tehases kuivatatud, võib viimistluse teostada suhteliselt kiiresti peale palkmaja valmimist, muul juhul tuleb oodata; freespalgi puhul u. 1 talv, ümarpalgi puhul 2 talve. Parim aeg viimistlemiseks on kevad; 10-20°C pilves sademeteta ilm.
Kui puitpinnal on mustust või hallitust, tuleb need pesta Puupesu-ainega.

Sega Tõrvaõli hoolikalt enne kasutamist ja kasutamise ajal. Kanna viimistlusmaterjal pintsliga kuivale pinnale puidusüü suunas 2-4 õhukest kihti. Anna kuivada kihtide vahel 1-2 ööpäeva. Kasuta tihedat pintslit ja viimistle alati üks palk otsast lõpuni. Viimistle puu otspinnad eriti hoolikalt. Uus viimistlus tehakse vajadusel aasta pärast. Tõrvaõli saab toonida Värvipigmentidega.
