Printstone and Epp Maria Kokamägi Began Collaboration

As of May, print studio Printstone is offering the possibility to order interior design elements made from the paintings of Epp Maria Kokamägi.

An exclusive right has been granted for 17 paintings, which have been created between 2005-2008. All products are manufactured in Estonia and each work is made according to the measurements given by the client.

Rael Medvedeva, manager of Printstone, says that the contract with Epp Maria Kokamägi is a continuation of promoting Estonian design and art. “Estonia is going through tough times, and this motivates people to prefer Estonian products even more and encourages them to see the beauty surrounding us,” she said. Rael Medvedeva added that she has been a great admirer of the artist for many years and is all the more happy about the fact that Printstone has the right to bring Estonian high art into Estonian homes and offices. “Epp Maria Kokamägi is the peak of Estonian art and giving the copyrights to her work to Printstone means bringing fine art into the home of every Estonian. Among the 17 paintings, everyone can find something that suits their interior in regards to their colour solutions or topic. A novel approach enables every interior design element – be it a roller blind or wallpaper – to be a work of art at the same time.” From the paintings of Epp Maria Kokamägi it is possible to order the following interior design elements: wallpaper, kitchen worktop wall strips, roller blinds and panel curtains and decorative pillows. The classic paintings on the walls must be ordered direct from the artist.

When making interior design elements from the paintings of Epp Maria Kokamägi, the following contemporary materials are used: PVC coated wall covering materials, different fabrics, acrylic glass, photo stickers and paints that do not harm the environment or people. The installation and transport of all products has been made easy for everyone.

Printstone design and print studio concentrates on different interior design solutions. It produces large-scale pictures on photographic paper, kappa paper, PVC and different canvases; digitally printed wallpapers, roller blinds, ceiling boards, ornaments for glass surfaces, furniture and walls and kitchen worktop wall strips. The products can be ordered by using the client’s own photos or they can choose a suitable picture from the Printstone photo bank. See more at www.printstone.ee.
