5.-7.10 toimub XIII Mardilaat ; 06.10. Käsitöö öö Sakusuurhallis

Rahvatraditsioone järgiv mardilaat, millega Tallinnas tehti algust 1997. aastal, on esialgu plaanitust käsitööde näitusmüügist kujunenud rahvakultuuri suurürituseks, käsitööliidu üheks olulisemaks ettevõtmiseks. See on koht, kus peale rahvusliku käsitöö müümise-ostmise meistrid suhelda ja kogemusi vahetada saavad. Siin elustatakse vanu mardipäevakombeid.
Laadal tegutsevad meistrikojad, kust mitut moodi õpetust ja konsultatsiooni saab. Lastele on avatud meisterdamistoad.
Mardilaadal on kujunenud kindlad traditsioonid, mis püsivad aastast aastasse, kuid iga laat toob ka uusi algatusi.
