Main part of ceramics is made in raku-technique, which dates back to xv-xvi centuries and is closely connected with Japanese tea-ceremionies and meditation. Raku-fireing differs from other common techniques. After pre-fiering in ordinary kiln, I cover the pieces with glaze and fire them in a special raku-kiln. Thereafter I put candent-hot ceramics into a vessel filled with sawdust, where the flames and smoke give the surface of the piece a unique play of colorus, which is never seen before and can`t be repeated.
